For Valentine's Day my mom offered to watch Brodie and Campbell so Megan and I could go out for dinner and get a decent night's sleep for once in the last 9 months.

Here's my mom's story of how she spent her Valentine's Day...

Something to look forward to, at 73 yrs old, I had a sleep-over, an old fashioned "slumber party"...at 5PM the back door opened, in came my guests.  Campbell, 4 yrs old and Brodie 9 mos old.

While the pizza was cooking, Megan nursed Brodie, with happy "Good Byes", the three of us chowed down the whole cheese pizza.  Brownies were the next course, and I rocked Brodie to sleep.  Campbell was ready for his movie, "Wall-E", I made popcorn for us, it brought back so many memories of slumper parties long gone.

At 9PM, Cam and I took off for the big bed.  We no more than settled in than there was a cry form the crib.  And now there was THREE in the big bed.  Brodie in the middle, what seems like hours of giggles and tickles, it got "All quiet on the bed".

At midnight, I had a potty trip for Campbell, no pee....so back to sleep, or so I thought.  Brodie had a chat with herself and Cam, and once again, back to sleep.

At 2AM, it was bottle time for Brodie....back to bed and out with Cam for a pee trip, no pee...back to sorta sleep till the silence was broken with laughs, giggles and now a potty trip.

At 3:30 everyone was in a party mood, so off we went to the play room, put down a blanket, turned on an "Elmo" movie, I got a box of Cherrios, and we watched shows till 5:30, when it was time for Megan to nurse Brodie.  She came over and took my guests home, I settled down in my chair and had the warmest feeling, a feeling that I hope all Nanas and Grandmas can look forward to.
